When to choose it

When you have a short, strong summary. Your name, photo, contact details and those three summary sentences all sit inside the tall colored header, so the reader knows who you are before reaching your experience. The body is a single white column, with skills and languages side by side at the bottom with level bars. It suits sales, marketing, PR and content roles, and it is also used in our graphic designer and content creator samples.

When to pick another one

If your summary is longer than three sentences: the header grows and takes space from your experience. If the resume will be printed in black and white, the strong header uses a lot of ink and the light text inside it fades. For job sites keep a version in ATS plain too.
