When to choose it

For managers, team leads and specialists with several jobs and key achievements. Your name and title sit in the dark band at the top, so the reader sees your level before anything else. The wide column holds experience and projects while education, skills and certificates gather in the side column, so a long history stays tidy. Our civil engineer and electrical engineer samples are shown in this template first. You can change the band from navy to any other color.

When to pick another one

For a first job or a short resume: the heavy band next to a few lines of experience looks empty, and a template like Minimal fills better. Because the body has two columns, ATS software may read the side column separately; for job sites keep a version in ATS plain or Classic too. If the resume will be printed in black and white, the dark band uses a lot of ink.
