When to choose it
When you send the resume straight to an employer and want it to stand out next to others. Your name and photo top the dark column, with skills and languages and their level bars below, so the white main column is left for experience and education. The default column is almost black, and you can make it navy, green or any other dark color. Our procurement sample is shown in this template first.
When to pick another one
If the resume will be printed in black and white: the full-color column uses a lot of ink and turns dark in copies. ATS software may read the side column apart from the rest, so for job sites keep a version in ATS plain. With only a few skills and languages, the tall column stays empty towards the bottom.
