This template at a glance
- One column
- Better sent directly than uploaded to ATS systems
- Photo optional, and you can move it
When to choose it
When you want a formal but different resume, for example for teaching, architecture, translation or services. A thin frame runs around the page, your photo and name sit centered at the top, and each section title is written in a light box, so the sections stay clearly separated in print too. The default font is a classic serif with a formal feel. Our translator and architect samples are shown in this template first.
When to pick another one
If you upload the resume to job sites: boxed headings and two-column skills are harder for software than ATS plain. If your resume is longer than one page, the frame repeats on page two and the text area gets a little tighter. For start-ups and digital jobs its classic look may seem old-fashioned.
Every template lets you choose colors, fonts, photo and section order, and you can switch templates at any time without losing anything.
